Just who are
The Rough Edges
???
The Rough Edges are a bluegrass band based in and around the Reno, Nevada area.
To some, we're also known as The Edgy Ruffians.
We share a passion for traditional bluegrass and old-time fiddle tunes. We cover songs by some of the masters, Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs, the Stanley Brothers, etc., and we cover a few more progressive and newgrass songs. We also toss into the mix some Irish jugs, train songs, and a couple original songs.
You won't hear a lot of slow songs at our gig. We like to drive that bluegrass bus and stay true to the classic bluegrass sound.
